How lie came

Sharing food we coexisted. Then they lost tails and stayed on trees.

Held the trees' touch. And a desire to mark. Fingers chose stones.

Wrote for permanency and visibility. Discovered fire.

They traveled to tell more. Tree pipes carried tunes far.

Minds shared sounds. Turns pieced vibrations, made words.

They saw thoughts. One made another speak.

They lost fur, wore clothes, lost smell, looked different.

Someone misunderstood. Then someone blinked.

Then some slept, and some dreamed.
